Class description
Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice where poses are held for 3–5 minutes to gently stretch the fascia, increase flexibility, and promote deep relaxation. Unlike dynamic vinyasa classes, Yin focuses less on strength and movement and more on mindfulness, breath awareness, and surrender. In this practice, we hold a series of shapes for longer periods, creating space to release stored emotions and quiet the mind. It becomes a bridge to meditation — an opportunity for self-discovery and inner exploration. These classes are infused with principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, targeting specific meridians to support energy flow and restore balance between the elements within the body. Yin Yoga may not always feel comfortable — stillness and deep stretches can challenge you in new ways. You’ll be guided and encouraged to explore to find your personal edge, never going beyond 80% of your capacity.
